2017 is sure to bring some big changes to us here at Suzu! Most recently Lucy participated at her 3rd Westminster. What a great time we had with our Vizsla friends, enjoying wine and cheese, as we waited for the clock to strike 5pm allowing us to go home. Lucy (GCH Gold CH Briar and Suzu Hey You! Get Off of My Cloud CGC) is now retired from the show ring finishing her specials year 2016 in 13th place. What an exciting ride! We have had a very successful 2016 with much more to come here at Suzu. Lucy will now enjoy a well deserved retirement. A breeding is planned very soon.  Check back to find out who will be the lucky stud.

Wallis and Zach,

In October 2014 Lucy whelped 9 puppies. I am very happy to report that they are continuing to make their parents proud! 4 of the 9 puppies finished their Championship within a few months of their 6 month birthday. Wallis (CH Suzu N Shannon's Evgeni's Waltz for Wallis JH) came home to me when she lost her owner. She had done her job and helped him through a difficult time.RIP Matt Tashiro.   Shortly after she came back she finished her Championship as did Zach (CH Suzu N Shannon's Dancing on a Cloud JH). Now they are down in South Carolina hunting with their fabulous trainer Scott Edwards working on their Senior Hunting titles. Look for Wallis in the show ring as our next special starting in April.

CH Suzu N Shannon's Cha-Cha-Cha

My pretty Cha-cha (CH Suzu N Shannon's Cha-Cha-Cha) lives with her owners Ellen and Richard Cole in Armonk. While they are enjoying a Winter in sunny Florida, Cha-cha is staying with me at Camp Suzu. In her first weekend out in the ring again, She earned her first 5 pts towards her GCH including her first major 3pt win. Cha-cha is filling in until Wallis comes home. The goal is to get her GCH and then to breed her later in the year. Ellen and Richard are coming home in March and she will go back to live with them. Oh my will I miss her! Come home often my pretty girl!

Suzu Strikes a Pose earns her first major

Suzu is so proud to announce that Daisy (CH Suzu Strikes a Pose), from my Sisi (CH Suzu N Aristotles Sisi JH CGC) and Striker's (CH Lyon Strikes Gold) litter is now a Champ! She was bred last spring to Hardy and they produced 3 lovely girls. What a great litter with only 3 but each one lovely.  Daisy will be bred again this Spring. Stay tuned to find out who the stud dog will be.
